Making It EASY To Create Your Perfect Photo Handbag.

People have asked me for years, "Gina, what makes up the Perfect Photo Handbag?"

Itʼs not an easy question to answer, but in this report I will do my best, pulling from all of my time, experience and resources over the last 15 years and give to you the best advice when it comes time to make that purchase of the perfect photo purse.

I am going to make this process as simple as 1 2 3. By the time you are done reading this report you will have the knowledge and tools to make the best decisions when it comes time to lay down that hard earned money for your purchase. I understand the meaning behind these bags, as Iʼve carried them for years, and I know the feeling I get when someone, every day, comments on my precious purse. I will cover choosing the best photo and pairing it with the best bag style and what options will make your bag the bag that makes you the best gift giver on the planet, the most favorite daughter or son in law, or just proud to carry your own moment in time around to share with others.

I want to spend some time with you sharing what I have found over the last 15 years of reading literally thousands of letters and emails, spending time with thousands of customers over the phone and even having the privilege of speaking to them in person about what they want in a photo handbag.

It's not easy deciding what bag shape to choose, what picture to use, whether to put a second photo on the other side or not, leather or canvas, do you want it to be a bag for the beach or bag for a night out on the town, etc. Decisions decisions!

Here are some concerns Iʼve heard over the years from lovers of photo handbags:

  • I canʼt decide on the photo to use. Should I go with a collage or second photo?

  • I have a picture but itʼs not digital. Itʼs in my house in a picture frame ... what should I do?

  • There is nothing out there that I can find to help me through this minefield of choices and then at the end have the bag not turn out the way I envisioned it to be.

  • Turnaround time. It just seems like buying a personalized product, because it's one of a kind, would take a long time to make. I'm used to getting things right away.

Letʼs start with first things first.

Picking the Right Company to Make Your Photo Handbag.
“Not all purses are created equal”.

With the photo handbag craze gaining momentum in the early 2000s, many companies sprang up to catch the wave. Today there are lots of companies to choose from, but you need to know a few things before giving your money to any of them.

Things to remember when choosing the right company: Q. Where is the product manufactured?

Over the years the stigma of buying something overseas has slowly disappeared. Most of us have accepted the fact that most manufacturing of American apparel and accessories has moved to foreign countries like China, India, Taiwan, Indonesia, Mexico and the list goes on. The fact is that these American companies can make a quality product offshore at a lower cost and pass that savings on to the consumer and still make a good profit. To confirm this, all you have to do is to go into any Nordstrom, Macys, WalMart, Target, JCPenney and a look at the tag to see where the purse has been manufactured. It will astonish you how many of the goods we buy are from overseas. Yet again, we donʼt mind as long as the quality is there. The stigma used to be that if it was made in China it was cheap, but today those countries like China have become very good over the years through their skilled labor force and technological advancements in manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products at an acceptably low cost. I could go on forever on this topic, so to save you from falling asleep Iʼll stop here, as I think you get my point!

In the industry of personalization, especially in the area of photo handbags, manufacturing overseas becomes a challenge and here is why. The product has to have the personalized photos added to the products, so the process of mass production to get the lower cost changes because you are customizing each piece. So what a lot of companies have done is find products that have been mass produced overseas (pre- made) and finish them here in the US by adding the last step (adding your photo) to the process to finish the bag. The result is a photo purse that looks cheap, feels cheap, has an unclear image and the bottom line is not what you imagined when you first desired a quality handbag. This is where the saying, “You get what you pay for” comes in.

If you are looking for a photo handbag that you can get quickly at a low price, then by all means there are companies that use this method and give you that quality of product. But if you are looking for a high-quality, fashion forward, long-lasting photo handbag then you have come to the right place.

We here at Gina Alexander sew our bags one at a time right here in the United States. Our team of highly skilled seamsters and seamstresses have spent decades honing their craft to bring you the best in handbag craftsmanship. Most of our production team have started in either horse saddles or shoe manufacturing to get specific skills of handling and manipulating all kinds of leather. The seamsters and seamstresses bring that knowledge and skill to each step of the process to create the best in leather and canvas handbags. The parts of each bag are made one at a time by hand and are

carefully crafted together to give you a long-lasting, beautifully designed bag. In fact, we donʼt start making the bag until the image is created on the fabric.

Q. Is the image on the bag going to look just like the picture I submitted?
Yes, with the technology available most photo handbag companies reproduce this

image well. You still need to be aware of a few things regarding clarity of the image.

“You get what you give”
ʼll go into more detail later, but if you submit a blurry photo youʼre going to get a blurry image on the bag.

Though it is a well-kept secret, we here at Gina Alexander have spent years perfecting the reproduction of image to fabric to bring you the highest quality image transfer to fabric available. This is why thousands of professional photographers from around the world have come to us to meet their clientsʼ personalization needs. Talk about attention to detail; we have had to endure much scrutiny by those critical photographers to make sure that the skin tones and color hues are perfect.

Q. Will the bag last a long time?

Again, youʼre going to get what you pay for. At the end of the day you are paying for quality. If you see someone with a photo bag ask them how long they have had the bag and other questions, like who made that bag?

Time and time again our customers come back to order another bag and say that their other, Gina Alexander, bag just gave out on them after heavy use of over 10 years. I donʼt know anyone who still has a designer bag that has used it day after day for 10 years. Thatʼs what makes our bags so unique: its stands the time of use, wear and tear and a fashionable look and feel still relevant today. I take pride and go to great lengths all over the world to research and find the best leather, trimmings and hardware that make up each of our products that will last and last.

So when you are shopping for your next photo handbag please take this into consideration. Take some time and find out where and how your bag is being made to insure your one-of-a-kind photo is being made into a one-of-a-kind photo handbag that you imagined and which meets the standards you expect from the price point they are charging.

For a gift ...

Over the years we have seen people purchase personalized products with photos for different reasons, and the number one reason by far is to give a special one-of-a-kind gift for a special, one-of-a-kind person.

From my experience, the act of giving a photo handbag has produced a lot of joy in peopleʼs lives. We have heard of families going in on the gift for their grandmothers or mothers for Christmas, and the bag became the centerpiece for the holiday meal and they couldnʼt stop talking about it for weeks.

Here are some good occasions to give a photo handbag.

• Christmas/Hanukah/Kwanzaa • Motherʼs Day
• Grandparent
ʼs Day
• Birthdays

• Wedding Anniversary • Valentineʼs Day
• Graduation
• Vacation Memories

• Just because
• Let
ʼs not forget all of the pet lovers out there

For this section I want to help you choose the image that will just make all who see the bag go WOW! My goal is to get your mind to sift through all of the images that you have in your mind until one starts to really pop out.

1. The Perfect Photo. It all starts with the photo.

For this section I want to help you pick the image that will just make you go WOW! My goal is to get your mind to sift through all of the images that have in your mind until one starts to really pop out.

This has got to be the hardest part of the process ...

Because the majority of the bag is going to be the photo, it is important you take time to pick the right picture.

There are several reasons to pick a photo for your product you wish to buy.

I have come across tens of thousands of orders, and every picture is different and every customer chooses the picture for different reasons. Like the song says: “every picture tells a story, donʼt it?”

A special moment in time: This is probably the most important reason and brings the most joy to a customer.

Here are some ideas:

• Family vacation
• Family reunion
• Birthday party
• A baby
ʼs first picture • Kidsʼ sporting events • Old family photos

• Pets (dogs, cats, horses, etc.)

The perfect photo has several features.

1. It has to be a moment in time for you that you cherish and want to share with others.

My mother in-law has a photo of all the kids and grandkids in her living room in a relaxed setting, and so when she is out running errands and gets stopped and asked about her bag, she shares about all the comings and goings of all of her offspring. What grandmother doesn't want to share about loved ones to anyone who will listen?

2. Clarity of image

The sharper the image, the better it will look on the bag.

If you are concerned about how the picture will look and that it needs to be the most beautiful image possible, then you might want to consider use a professional photo taken by a portrait photographer. I would say some of the most stunning and beautiful photo purses are the ones where a professional photo is used.

If clarity is not an issue and the focus is on the moment in time then thatʼs fine.

Next, I will focus on picking the right style of bag thats right for you and you needs.

2. Picking the Right Bag Style

Depending on your budget, you have a wide variety of quality bags to choose from.

Gina Alexander photo handbags are on the high end of the quality spectrum.

Now that you have your perfect photo to go on your photo bag, letʼs now focus on the style of bag you wish to have.

Like every photo handbag company out there, there is a wide variety of styles to choose from. The question is: what style do you want to show off that perfect moment?

Over the years we have experimented with bag shapes and found out it is pretty limited due to the focus being the picture. So the shape has to make sure that the image is the main thing and that the style of the bag just accents the image. I have spent 25 years in the fashion industry and I have to say (not to toot my own horn) I have worked extremely hard to marry fashion forward styles with pictures to make sure the picture is always the focus, while at the same time making each bag shape a statement of fashion and sensibility. So if you want your handbag to be stylish and fashion forward, Gina Alexander is the choice for you.

3. Place your order and your done

In closing, I want to emphasize at the end of the day I hope you will consider all the things I have suggested so that you have a wonderful experience in creating these one- of–a-kind memorable keepsakes that you will cherish for years to come. Good luck, and donʼt hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at info@ginaalexander.com.

All the Best! xoxo
